Side dish - A side dish, sometimes referred to as a side order or simply a side, is a food item that accompanies the entrée or main course at a meal. A typical meal with a meat-based main dish might include one vegetable side dish, sometimes in the form of a salad, and one starch side dish, such as bread, potatoes, rice, or pasta.

Main course - A main course is the featured or primary dish in a meal consisting of several courses (a full course dinner can consist of ten or even twelve courses). The main course can also be called the entrée; however, in some menus the main course follows the entrée, or entry, course, and the salad course.

Kombdi vade - Kombdi Vade is a non-vegetarian dish native to the Malvan region in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The dish consists of a traditional Malvani chicken curry (including chicken pieces with bones), vade (fluffy fried dumplings made of wheat and Ragi flour), onions, lemon juice and sol-kadhi (a gravy made from coconut milk).
